ABSTRACT
This study would provide useful information for restaurant companies and small business owners that suffer serious blows in a full-scale pandemic, COVID-19 situation. This study aims at an exploratory inquiry into the differences there would be in changes in consumers’ eating out behaviors between the time before the outbreak of COVID-19 and the time after the end of it. In this study, a survey was conducted in the Daegu area, from May 1 through 10, 2020, and 1188 copies were used in the final analysis.

I. 서 론
최근 발생한 코로나-19는 전 세계로 확산되기 전 중국 우한에서 처음 확인되었다(Baker et al., 2020). 외식산업이 빠르게 변화하고 발전하는 시점에 코로나-19는 큰 변화와 후퇴를 초래하게 되었다. 인간의 기본욕구를 충족시키는 분야 중 하나가 외식산업이다(김기진ㆍ이보순, 2009). 세계보건기구인 WHO는 2020년 3월 11일에 세계적 대유행을 의미하는 펜데믹을 선언하였다. 코로나-19는 전 세계 많은 노동자들에게 새로운 형태의 위험을 안겨주었다. 사람에서 사람으로 확산되는 감염을 막기 위해 폐쇄나 사회적 거리두기 등의 과감한 조치가 내려졌고, 국가들 간의 봉쇄 등은 상당한 비용을 수반한다(Lekfuangfu et al., 2020).
로운 신종 전염병인 코로나-19의 감염속도는 매우 빠르게 확산되었고, 독감보다 사망치사율은 10배 높았고, 감염률은 2배 높았다.
